My heart bleed after hearing the sudden news of her transition, and am short of tears in my eyes 👀 looking back in all her deeds, that she was always there for me as a political mother. She was dedicated to the cause and progress of our great party PDP, till death. This was her last comment and advised on political matters: Says Edo North PDP should please unite. Her last words on political matters has further reminded us that every living soul should have the spirit of forgiveness and oneness. May God Almighty grant the children, her entire family and friends the fortitude to bear the pain of our lovely mother. We have watched with keen interest and recently, with excitement the events, the unfolding events in the party, specifically as it relates to the attendance of Chief Dan Orbih's brother's son by some of our PDP leaders. The likes of the Deputy Governor, Phillip Shaibu; Bar. Osarodion Ogie, the SSG; Senator Ehigie Ozamere; Hon. Marcus Onubun; Rt. Hon. Ogbiede-Ihama, Dr Tony Aziegbemi...all in attendance at the Benin home of Chief Dan Orbih. No doubt, this will engender peaceful coexistence in the party we have always wished for. The Akoko-Edo PDP Stakeholders yesterday lead by the National Leader, Engr. Fred Attah, paid a solidarity visit to the South PDP South Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, in his Benin residence. A team of local vigilantes in Benin City, the Edo State capital, has rescued 28 victims of human trafficking.  The State coordinator, Edo State Community Vigilante Security Network, Oboh Emmanuel Otoide, disclosed this while addressing journalists at the weekend in Benin City. He said the victims, between the ages of 13 and 17 years, were rescued during a stop and search operation by his men. According to him, “The victims were rescued by our men around 2 a.m on Tuesday along Akpakpava Road in Benin City. Three suspects, including two drivers conveying the victims to their destinations were arrested during the operation and handed over to the Department of State Services for further investigations. “Our preliminary investigations revealed that the victims were being moved from the South East, enroute Edo State, to the South West of the country.” Oboh said in another operation, officials of the Edo State Community Vigilante Security Network arrested a man who robs people of their person

Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the party, Yekini Nabena, said this while reacting to the public declaration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the party’s National Leader, in the 2023 presidential race. With his disclosure to contest the presidency, Tinubu is likely to clash with his political ‘godson’, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, who is also believed to be interested in the presidential race. Pastor James Mugo, the General Overseer of Wings of Blessings Africa Church, has reportedly landed in hospital after he was beaten up by members of his church. According to reports, trouble started on New Year eve service when Mugo, demanded for N16,000 from every member of the church to offer prayers to God for them to unlock the new year's blessings. The clergyman purportedly threatened that failure to pay the money, the members would be cursed not to receive the 2022 blessings.
