TIME TO BALANCE THE IMBALANCE; It’s Egor turn now as 20years against 4 years in Egor/Ikpoba-Okha federal constituency administration!

Egor is a Local Government Area of Edo State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Uselu. Egor is one of the LGAs that are part of the larger metropolitan area of Benin City with his postal code of the area to be 300... 

His Demonym(s) as *Egorians*.

EGOR occupies an area mass of 93 km2 and a population of 339,899 at the 2006 census... It Total Area mass killometer to be 36 sq mi (93 km2) from within to the outskirt of Benin...

Egor LGA is located in Uselu town, as one of the serving eighteen LGAs of the state, consisting towns and villages. 

Egor local government council governs the administrations in Egor Local Government and the council is led by a chairman who is the executive head of the local government, the Egor legislative council also institutes laws that governs the Egor Local Government which is made of 10 councilors representing the 10 wards in the local government..

EGOR is made up of different Ancestral districts that is most often than not, link to the enthronement of State monarchs (Kings) which is referred as the most powerful kingdom in Nigeria because of its ancestral norms and principles that's binding from time immemorial  till date. And as such, because of his usefulness and the legacies it hold, it becomes imperative for it to come first before his sister neighbouring district *Ikpoba-Okha*  of Edo state because every sitting king has his ancestral abode/home traceable to the said Local Gvt.

Now, Ikpoba Okha local government is a city whose Headquarter is situated in the heart of Idogbo.

 It has an area of 862 km2 and a population of 371,106 according to the 2006 census and share same postal code of the area is 300... 

They have same 10 political wards just like his sistering city as Egor. 

One unique ancestral practice among them is the festival of *Orhe* which is widely celebrated by the inhabitants of the local govt with the strong presence of the monarch fully in support of it...

From this analysis, one can say Egor comes first because of his ancestral position and numerical strength which count politically when making decisions that connects the socio-economy well being of the said respective delineation of local Gvt mentioned above.

Over time, Ikpoba Okha has enjoyed the most parts of politics in all ramifications, probably because, decisions from the leadership helm of affair, has always favour them against Egor for reasons best known to them irrespective of any political platform.

It's on records several times, when candidate to be fielded to represent both constituencies (EGOR/Ikpoba Okha) will come from same Local Gvt. Ikpoba Okha and this has turned to become tradition politically, to this effect to base selections from the other side  typicality, with example taken from the last Election where *Hon Ise- Idehen as a candidate  to represent PDP & Hon E.J Agbonayinma as a candidate to represent APC*...

The must questions on the lips of everyone is Egor not qualify to merit the position Or Does it means that, Egor doesn't have the well without, to meet the criteria for selection?

Or does it mean that, Egor doesn't have Leadership pre-requisite to make basic selection on who merit the badge to represent?

Again I asked, WHERE HAS EGOR GONE WRONG..???🤔🤔

The time to reconcile this imbalance is now because, 20 years out of 24 years has been controlled by Ikpoba -Okha while 4 years is owned to Egor... From 1999 - 2023.

Can we continue to dwell in silence for injustice to prevail for another 4 years, effect from 2023? The answer to this, is “NO"!

Egor has been on the receiving end often also been short change in terms of all juicy appointments over the years right from inception till date within the state governance whereas, her neighbouring sister - Ikpoba Okhahas gotten the fullest of theirs, in ecstasy... 

Lastly, We asked , What has Egor done? Why has Egor become an alternative option for remains? It's a question we're asking the Decision Making Like which demands answers that We need to know! 

It's undisputed fact that, in all election, Egor has always been a determinant force to produce result that dictate or decide who seat on that prestigious seat hence, the need for leaders to weigh this matter is very imperatve.

in the spirit of fairness and unity, it time to look inward and give it to EGOR in 2023 because anything short of this, is termed Marginalisation, Injustice and Relegation.

And as such, we are pleading to the leadership of the party PDP to look forthrightly towards ensuring that this injustice,  fairness and imbalance in Egor/ Ikpoba - Okha federal constituency are put in a democratic recording as is the only option normalcy can return to the constituency as people, political party and leadership that only stood for democratic processes!

It's time to set the record straight.

The time to change the narrative is now.
