THE STATE GOVERNMENT AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SHOULD RISE UP AGAINST THE UNTOLD HARDSHIP ASSOCIATIONS AND UNIONS HAVE PLUGGED UPON NIGERIANS.

 


In the Western world association and unions are set up to normalize & bridge the gap between the government & the common man but in Nigeria the case is different, hence Association's and Unions are formed to punish and intimidate the common man in the streets, to the extent they even go as far to deprived small scales from operations, due to their selfish interests. The law is very clear says that Associations and Unions are not by force but is a things of choice, in Edo State they are making it mandatory to every trader or petty trader in the streets. The high cost of commodities in the market and road transportation today 60% of its is caused by those Associations and Unions in Edo State and Nigeria at large. 


I urge the Edo State Government and Federal government at large to rise up for their responsibilities by Regulating or ban the so called associations and unions in the state who bet to make life becoming unbearable to the common man, despite the current hardship Nigerians are facing in the country.

It was a historic moment today at Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State as the campaign train of the People's Democratic Party concluded its campaign tour in Edo Central.  The journey which commenced with a visit to the Palace of the Onojie of Irrua, HRH W.O. Momodu, the Okaijesan of Esan land, saw the King's spokesman reeling out the series of people-oriented projects executed by the Governor Obaseki's administration in Irrua Kingdom. The Palace of Okaijesan thanked the Governor for the reclamation of the gully occasioned by erosion in Ibore, construction of Idumabokhale road, construction of Eigbe road, establishment of Technical College at Usugbenu and the setting up of mechanized Farm at Usugbenu amongst several others.
