Akoko-Edo PDP Stakeholders Paid Solidarity Visit to Orbih




The Akoko-Edo PDP Stakeholders yesterday lead by the National Leader, Engr. Fred Attah, paid a solidarity visit to the South PDP South Vice Chairman, Chief Dan Orbih, in his Benin residence. The visit was neccesitated by the fact that electioneering exercise is near and the stakeholders needed words of advice and encouragement from the veteran and experienced leader. The Akoko-Edo PDP leaders who represented the entire Akoko-Edo PDP united family discussed far reaching issues with the leader of the South South and listened with rapt attention while he offered them words of wisdom from his fount. 


Chief Dan Orbih said that the harmonization being pursued by some individuals is unknown to the PDP Contitution and not supported in any form by the Party at all levels. He warned that members of Akoko-Edo should not be decieved into any exercise that's not supported by the Party's Constitution. He admonished them to continue to be vigilant, watch and pray especially this period that electioneering will start taking full swing. The now PDP political sage in the state, Chief Dan, who is in the mould of Chief Anenih, said the cohesion of the PDP members in Edo State and their loyalty to the party, including even some new members, is breathtaking and a thing of joy, but not unexpected. 


He concluded the meeting by expressing utmost appreciation to all party faithfuls in Akoko-Edo who are standing firmly with the Party and its constitution during this trying times that will surely pass. He prayed for speedy justice for members of the party that were dehumanized and molested at Egbigeri while holding their legitimate ward Party meeting.
