Not only that Goebbel Lukman has become reckless, he has now constituted himself into a middle-age embarrassment in Edo State.   Unintentionally, Lukman Goebbel is doing a lot of damages to his masters by exposing their political frailties. He has agreed that the governor has not been fair in the appointments so far. Of course, with his antecedents, we don't expect the governor to be fair. In a statement, Secretary to the State Government, Osarodion Ogie Esq., said the two Special Advisers are Crusoe Osagie, who has been appointed as Special Adviser, Media Projects and Sarah Esangbedo Ajose-Adeogun, who is Special Adviser, Strategy, Policy, Projects and Performance Management. The commissioner-nominees whose names have been forwarded to the Edo State House of Assembly include: Oluwole Osamudiamen Iyamu, SAN; Prof. (Mrs.) Obehi Akoria; Dr. Joan Osa Oviawe; Osaze Ethan Uzamere and Monday Osaigbovo. We can tell you categorically that those fighting for political party structure in Edo State PDP are equally fighting to become political Godfathers in the state politics hence the reasons the so-called new PDP are preventing the Governor from setting up his cabinet after one year of being elected by overwhelming citizens of the state. There is no doubt that Governor Godwin Obaseki and Deputy Governor Phillip Shaibu were elected by the masses under the Umbrella of PDP. We laugh at those blaming Chief Dan Osi Orbih for insisting on fairness, equality, and just in the dispensation of dividends of democracy to party members. Legacy members of the Edo PDP should not be paid back with evil for their magnanimity because of the new PDP members' political misfortune experienced in their former party- APC. As a matter of urgency and exigency, we appeal to them to retrace their steps and start making peace to unite with those they met in the party rather than creating crisis here and there.

One of them, Mr. Akemokue Lukman, a member of the 'New PDP' and an unofficial government propagandist, and the other, Mr. Osilama Okuofu.  (1)The first issue that caught my attention was when Lukman was asked what's happening in PDP, his response was that they left APC after some crisis in the party...now, without going further, does it not sound as these people are harbingers of crisis? He is on TV talking again about crisis in PDP after about a year they left APC with loads of crisis which saw their then national chairman suspended from the party by this same group. on Tuesday around 8pm, Mr Emma Eregarnoma  invited her  mother (Mrs Oke Eregarnoma) to his house on Caroline Street, Okuokoko, after he  persuaded  her that he had a surprise package for her. On getting there, she said she saw Emma in an unusual joyous mood, after he welcomed her in. He then increased the volume of his musical gadgets. Oke alleged that her son suddenly locked the door and made moves to strangle and pluck off her eyes, just as she screamed for help, adding that no one heard her due to the loud music. She said after fighting with his son for some minutes she regained her strength and ran outside for help, while neighbours came to her rescue.  Mrs Oke Eregarnoma, while narrating her ordeal to journalists on a hospital bed where she was recuperating, recalled that before the attack, her son boasted that "he must drive GLK this week The suspect was consequently apprehended and taken to the police station. As a member of our great party, PDP, in Edo State and Nigeria at large where did we get it wrong before and during Edo 2020 Governorship election? With the current commissioner's list seen to be flying since yesterday all over social media, I can only say in all the entire names in the list I know only one old PDP which is the current Publicity Secretary (Mr, Chris Nehikhare).  Hence does it mean the old PDP who also work tirelessly before and during Edo 2020 Governorship election to bring this current government on board don't have intelligent and capable hands that are fit in commissioners, Special Advisers, SSA and SAs positions? (I mean those who could also work with the Governor and his Deputy to take Edo State to a greater height? )  It seems our PDP leaders  in Edo State are not worried over the short  changes of those who kept the party structure before Governor Godwin Obaseki and His Deputy, Phillip Shaibu, joined  PDP after they were both neglected and denied tickets

The South-South governors have been encouraged to give backing to the recent legal moves to reposition the collection of Value Added Taxes, VAT, to the States where the duty rightly belongs. My dear people of Rivers State As we all know, following the recent judgement of the Federal High Court, Port Harcourt, which upheld the constitutional right and authority of State Governments to impose, collect and utilize value added taxes (VAT) within their respective territorial jurisdictions, the Rivers State Government enacted the Rivers State Value Added Tax Law 2021 to regulate the effective administration of VAT in Rivers State. 2. As expected, the Federal Government, through the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), disagreed and filed an appeal coupled with a request for stay-of-execution of the judgment before the Federal High Court. 3. While the appeal was pending and without any stay-of-execution of the subsisting judgement, the FIRS went about to bully corporate bodies and business entities from paying the VAT to the Rivers State Government even when they knew that an appeal does not serve as a stay neither was there anything to stay in a declaratory judgement. 4. As a
