SPIRIT OF ONENESS, DR, WISDOM AKHERE JONES AND PRINCE LEWIS OSOBASE CELEBRATE UKPE-BAKOR (YEARLY FESTIVAL ) WITH ONOGIE OF EWATTO!!




Spirit of oneness as Dr, Wisdom Akhere Jones, Uki 1 of Esan land, an aspirant for Edo House of Assembly, Esan South East constituency and Prince Lewis Osobase, an aspirant for House of Representatives, Esan South East / Esan North Federal Constituency, today celebrated Ewatto cultural day (Yearly Festival) with the Onogie of Ewatto , HRH Ikhumen, in Ewatto Kingdom.


During the celebration the HRH Ikhumen, commended the both aspirants for honouring the invitation despite the invitation gets to them very late, he said those aspiring for various positions in Esan South East constituency that honour his invitation are those who have good plan for the good people of Ewatto, he further wishes both aspirants best of luck in their political aspirations.


Dr, Wisdom Akhere Jones, commended the HRH for his recognition as Ewatto son and used the opportunity to encourage Ewatto son's and daughters to always come home to experience the beauty of culture, he said that we must not abandon all we inherited from our great grandfather. 


Prince Lewis Osobase, also commended the HRH Ikhumen for organizing a perfect cultural day, he said the cultural day was a great experience that every Esan Son and Daughter of Esan land needs to be coming home to experience. He said there are much to learn from the Ukpe - Bakor (Yearly Festival) . 


The Auditor General of the Federation, Mr, Adolphus Aghughu, who hails from Ewatto was also present at the great Occasion, Ukpe - Bakor (Yearly Festival) 


The King also pray for all Son's and daughters of Ewatto kingdom at home and abroad, that God Almighty should continue to protect, guide and bless them in their daily activities. And advice them to be law abiding citizens wherever they are in the world. Said they should always remember home as they all progress in their various occupation.

It was a historic moment today at Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State as the campaign train of the People's Democratic Party concluded its campaign tour in Edo Central.  The journey which commenced with a visit to the Palace of the Onojie of Irrua, HRH W.O. Momodu, the Okaijesan of Esan land, saw the King's spokesman reeling out the series of people-oriented projects executed by the Governor Obaseki's administration in Irrua Kingdom. The Palace of Okaijesan thanked the Governor for the reclamation of the gully occasioned by erosion in Ibore, construction of Idumabokhale road, construction of Eigbe road, establishment of Technical College at Usugbenu and the setting up of mechanized Farm at Usugbenu amongst several others.
