Says Gov. Obaseki is a silent achiever.


The Commissioner for Local government affairs, Hon. Monday Osaigbovo has commended the Executive Governor Godwin Obaseki, for his commitment in ensuring productive governance in the state.


The dynamic and outstanding commissioner for local government Affairs , who spoke to Newsmen while receiving copies of the media Watch International Personality Almanac 2022 presented to him by the publishers at his office maintained that Governor Godwin Obaseki was desirous and committed in repositioning Edo State with improved infrastructures and 21st century business climate while insisting that the governor was a silent achiever who does not make noise about the positive impact he has brought to bear on Governance, civil services reforms, human capital development and improved ease of doing business in the state.


The  humanitarian commissioner whose selfless service to humanity is indeed unprecedented in person of Hon. Monday Osaigbovo admonished the good people of Edo state to continue supporting and cooperating with the governor for greater development and growth in the state.


The Commissionner then thanked the publishers of the personality Almanac 2022 and noted that their publication has signposted personalities from across the state, capturing men and women from all alwalks of life, who have imparted tribes, on the people of the state and humanity in general.

It was a historic moment today at Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State as the campaign train of the People's Democratic Party concluded its campaign tour in Edo Central.  The journey which commenced with a visit to the Palace of the Onojie of Irrua, HRH W.O. Momodu, the Okaijesan of Esan land, saw the King's spokesman reeling out the series of people-oriented projects executed by the Governor Obaseki's administration in Irrua Kingdom. The Palace of Okaijesan thanked the Governor for the reclamation of the gully occasioned by erosion in Ibore, construction of Idumabokhale road, construction of Eigbe road, establishment of Technical College at Usugbenu and the setting up of mechanized Farm at Usugbenu amongst several others.
