Yesterday 18TH of February was indeed glorious and historic as , the governor of Edo state , Godwin Obaseki announced the conversion of the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma , to a Multi-campus institution, alongside two others state owned tertiary institutions.


The Ebullient and Indomitable Governor Obaseki, announced the conversion while speaking at the Education policy town hall meeting convened by the state ministry of Education.


The futuristic and workaholic Governor said that while the main campus would be in Ekpoma , the two new campuses would be located in Oredo local government and Owen federal constituency.


Edo chief Executive said, the campus located at Oredo would focus on technology and engineering, while the sister campus in Owan would be for agricultural and natural resources .


With this new renovation in Education sector will surely turn around high level of learning in the state. 


We strongly believed that the purpose of government is to make the people experience a true dividends of democracy, which without being told, Obaseki administration who believes that Education is the best legacy given to a child has indeed proven to be exceptional with exemplary leadership in government.


Please let’s join efforts with our governor in building a productive and a prosperous state .

It was a historic moment today at Esan Central Local Government Area of Edo State as the campaign train of the People's Democratic Party concluded its campaign tour in Edo Central.  The journey which commenced with a visit to the Palace of the Onojie of Irrua, HRH W.O. Momodu, the Okaijesan of Esan land, saw the King's spokesman reeling out the series of people-oriented projects executed by the Governor Obaseki's administration in Irrua Kingdom. The Palace of Okaijesan thanked the Governor for the reclamation of the gully occasioned by erosion in Ibore, construction of Idumabokhale road, construction of Eigbe road, establishment of Technical College at Usugbenu and the setting up of mechanized Farm at Usugbenu amongst several others.
