IN BID TO MOVE OUR GREAT PARTY PDP TO A GREATER HEIGHT, WARD 8 PDP HOLD UNITY MEETING TODAY IN UDABA EKPERI, ETSAKO CENTRAL l LOCAL GOVERNMENT EDO STATE

PDP Ward 8 hold Unity meeting Today 26 February 2022 in Udaba Ekperi. The meeting was presided by the Ward chairman, Hon, Freeman Alonope, who informed the people that he was so excited as at the time he received a called from HON, Barr, Lawani Damian Azegbeobor, Former Commissioner for Youths and special duty, that he should schedule a date like this for the ward to hold Unity meeting, it came to past that PDP in Ward 8 is now one big family under the Umbrella of PDP in Edo State, after today ward meeting. The Ward Chairman, who pleaded with everyone to ensure we live in peace and unity as one big family under the Umbrella of PDP and he we ensure as a ward Chairman in Etsako Central Local government, he we always ensure that equity and fairness remain his top priority. He further said that is aims as PDP Ward 8 Chairman is to ensure PDP work in peace and unity to win all the future elections ahead 2023 in Ward 8.  He commended and thank Hon, Barr, Lawani Damian and all those who decamped alongside with him before, during and after Edo 2020 Governorship election, to have seen the need for us to come together as one big family under the Umbrella of PDP in Ward 8, Etsako Central Local government, Edo State.

Hon. Abubakar Shaban, who is the PDP leader in Ward 8, Etsako Central Local government, commended everyone who joined PDP before, during and after election and those who are being keeping the party for the past years, to have taken this bold steps in ensuring PDP in Ward 8 now live harmoniously as one big family under the Umbrella of our great party PDP in Edo State, said he is specially commending and happy for this unity meeting because he has never been happy with way PDP in Ward 8 and Edo State at large is being divided ever since our great party PDP in Edo State came out victorious immediately Edo 2020 Governorship election, while he advised everyone who were physically present and those that was not present in the PDP Unity meeting to ensure we stick  and abides in all they have both agreed on during the PDP unity meeting held in Ward 8 head quarter Udaba Ekperi, in other for us to move the party forward and win all the future elections in Ward 8 and Etsako Central Local government at large. He commended and thank those who have seen the need for us to come together as one big family under the Umbrella of our great party PDP in Edo State.

Mr, Dorctor Anakhu, who was fully present during the unity meeting, commended and endorse the leadership of Hon, Freeman Alonope as the ward chairman of PDP ward 8 in Etsako Central Local, said that he was very happy when he received the information from their leader Hon, Barr, Lawani Damian Azegbeobor, that they are to held a peace and unity meeting as one big family under the Umbrella of our great party PDP and the Ward chairman, Hon, Freeman Alonope, personally met with him to informed about this peace and unity meeting, but he was so disappointed when he came to the meeting and he could not sight his eyes on their leader Hon, Barr, Lawani Damian, despite speaking with him a day to the meeting assuring them that he all going to make himself available for the peace and unity meeting, that however he is still much very happier for the success fulness of the PDP peace and unity meeting.

Comr. Ozimah Joseph Odemokpa, who was fully present during the PDP peace and unity meeting in Ward 8, commended and thank everyone for this great move for PDP Ward to have decided to come together as one big family under the Umbrella of our great party PDP in Edo. He further advised and encouraged everyone to ensure the purpose of the unity meeting is being fulfilled ahead the future elections, he said that house divided against it self can not stand, as such we must continue to be preaching peace to those who are still angry to quickly see the need for them to join hands and work in unity with every members of PDP in Ward 8. He further informed the people about the new development of the just signed Electoral amendment bill into law by President Muhammadu Buhari, telling them the advantages of the new electoral laws. 

Hon, Abubakar Tijani, who was unavoidable absent from the peace and unity meeting, send sum amounts of money down to ward chairman for refreshment. 

Hon, Barr, Lawani Damian Azegbeobor, who was also unavoidable absent, send sum amounts  of money down for refreshment and he pleaded with the ward chairman and every other person in the meeting that his absence was due to he had an urgent assignments alongside with the Deputy Governor, Phillip Shaibu, after the meeting was scheduled to hold yesterday 26th February 2022, he also send goodwill message to the good people of Etsako Central. 

Mr, Abu Hassan, Comr, Akhigbe who were also absent from the meeting, due to their job didn't permit them to physically present in the meeting , also send sum amounts of money down to the ward chairman, for refreshments. 

While about two aspirants also declared their intention to run for Councillorship in the forthcoming Edo 2022 Local government election. 

The meeting came to an end after much refreshments and dance.
