BY JUNO JONSON A commercial driver of Yobe who has been in the transport business for so many years returned a huge sum of money to its own after he saw it by the roadside. The driver known as Mallam Kiri Umaru picked up the money amounting to 1 million Naira without telling any of his passengers and handed it over to the National Union of Road Transport Agency for investigations to be carried out as to who truly owns it. Our attention was drawn to a publication released on August 28, 2020. Titled “Jubilation As Pastor Ize-Iyamu Bags Honorary Title of ‘Oyakhire’ at Ora”. In the body of the publication it read, “There’s jubilation in the camp of APC as the Palace of the Oje of Ora in Owan West LGA of Edo state, yesterday 27th of August, conferred a honorary chieftaincy title of Oyakhire' meaning, 'he who wipes our tears', on the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Edo Governorship election, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu.” The Ora sons and daughters will like to draw attention to the disregard for the people of Ora.
